| Polymer Ferrous Sulfate Description: Polymer ferrous sulfate (PFS) is a basic ferrous sulfate, molecular formula:[Fe2(OH) n (SO4)3-N/2]m, of which n>2; m=f(n). There are a lot of complex ferrous ion ([Fe2 (OH) 3]3+, [Fe(H2O)6]3+, [Fe3(OH)3 ]6+)in its solution. So it is a very efficient flocculant which can easily form flocculating colloid. Its chemical structure is space network polymer which has multinuclear hydroxy complex ion. It can hydrolyses quickly in water and produces highly efficient multinuclear hydroxy complex negative ion during hydrolysis. In the proccess of water treatment, it has very strong ability to neutralize surface eclectric charge of suspending substances and can link suspending particles in between. Solid product is in an unhardened form.
